La comédie musicale a été écrite et réalisée par MGK et Mod Sun, et donne vie à Tickets to My Downfall, qui a atteint la première place du classement Billboard 200 en octobre. L'influence de Travis Barker sur l'album est évidente, la vibe punk et pop est présente dans toutes les chansons et bien qu'elle diffère grandement du rappeur que l'on connaît pour MGK, la direction musicale de l'album est en accord avec son thème.

Travis Barker's influence on the album is evident, the punk and pop vibe is present in all of its songs and while it differs greatly from the rapper that we know MGK for, the music direction of the album is in line with his theme.
Nous ne verrons peut-être pas de si tôt la version rapper de MGK, au grand plaisir d'Eminem dont le récent conflit avec lui semble encore frais. Il n'a cependant pas été déconcerté par l'album récent d'Em et semble embrasser la musicalité multi-genre avec le punk-pop et ne manque pas de collaborateurs volontaires. Certains de ses fans n'aiment pas trop son genre punk-pop mais les billboards prouvent un point qui ne peut être nié et qu'il y a une demande pour tous les genres qu'il a à offrir.
We may not yet see the rapper version of MGK back so soon, much to the delight of Eminem whose recent beef with him still feels fresh. He however was not fazed by the recent album Em made and seem to be embracing the multi-genre musicality with punk-pop and is not lacking in willing collaborators. Some of his fans are not too fond of his punk-pop genre but billboards prove a point that cant be denied and that there is a demand for all genres he has to offer.
